jia-rui + bryan... slideshow

Bryan + Jia-Rui's wedding was absolutely amazing. Their chemistry blew me away at their engagement session, but almost knocked me over on this afternoon. It was a stormy morning and rain was threatening to alter their outdoor wedding plans. As soon as I saw Bryan, he said with a true gleam in his eye, "I don't care where we do this, I'll marry her inside, outside... or the bathroom." He just said it with such conviction. It made me melt. :)
Their first meeting before the ceremony was so moving and full of beautiful tears and long embraces.
Congrats you two, and I wish you much bliss within your marriage!

Atlantis Grand Opening // Insect's Live Performance

I photographed the grand opening party for Atlantis skin spa . beauty bar in Fresno. Although construction wasn't finished on time, the party still went on as planned, bringing in more than 300 guests... It was a great turn out, Local radio station B95 was present and provided music; they even had a drawing for two free Pink/Justin Timberlake concert tickets! The night went well, giving local residents an opportunity to catch a glimpse of what the salon will offer upon it's official opening. The night ended with a killer performance by Insect. The band is made up of two guys, (one being my husband's cousin!) and they rocked. I hadn't seen them play until that night and I was so impressed!!!!

I am posting this against my husband's warning when he said, "Danielle, this is too geeky, what are you, 15 years old???!!!" So, you have been warned.

Most women fantasize about Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, and George Clooney.
Not me.

My guy? David Spade.
Yes, David Spade.

So, how psyched was I, yes- psyched, when my clients, Mike + Shannon Karlich, called to tell me that David was just hired onto the new TV show Rules of Engagement. Mike is the editor so...
Next thing I knew, I was seated VIP at the hilarious taping just feet from David. My husband had to occasionally wipe the drool pooling at my lips. not really. but almost.

It was a good night. We had a killer time and I must have looked at the photograph below thirty times that night. I felt like a teenager.

Thank you Mike + Shannon. We had soooooooo much fun on our night out, it was a fabulous date! I also appreciate your thinking of me and remembering my "list."

and to David...
Thank you.

If you are ever in need of headshots, flattering paparazzi angles, or a date to the Emmy's... you know who to call.
I won't tell Heather.
and John understands. He has his own list.

Decorating for the holiday :)

I can't believe the holidays are already here! We decorated the tree this week, here are a few shots from the afternoon. I just LOVE his little PJ's...

heeheehee...

stay tuned...

Wow, I'm so behind at cataloguing my weddings to show from this year.... I've shot 20 weddings in the last 6 months and have only showcased a handful of them so far. Stay tuned, I'll be catching up during the holiday season and will be posting shots more frequently!

thanksgiving + bowling

It was a good one. I must admit, I was originally bummed that we wouldn't be having our usual traditional dinner this year, but we ended up having so much fun celebrating Thanksgiving. My family & I went bowling + then had dinner at Yamato's restaurant. YUM.

Oh and as you can see, I beat my husband's score during the game. That's a HUGE accomplishment (even if it was only by one point!) he wins everything & I mean EVERYTHING. So, his defeat made the day even better :)
