Today was day 3 of the Inside Edition Boudoir shoot, held at my studio. Caroline was a natural, very much at ease despite all of the cameras! We had a fun shoot, and are looking forward to the air date (as well as her fiance's reaction when he sees these photos!) :) I'll keep everyone posted on when it will be aired, as of yet there's no set date since there may still be a couple more days of shooting!!! Meghan did hair & make up and even played photographer, shooting a few photos of me in action :)
So, up until now, we've always been a couple. Having Lucas makes us an actual family now! It was so exciting to get away with our son. We sped off to Laguna Beach for a night, trying to test the waters to see how it went before we book a larger vacation in the coming months. SO FUN! We had a great time just relaxing & being a family :) We visited the art festivals and they were wonderful. I love recycled art so the Sawdust festival was my favorite of the three, many local artists displayed their wacky art. I bought a new purse and a ring made from an old spoon handle :)
Can I just say I LOVE boudoir!?!?! I feel so lucky to have my hobby double as my career. I have been shooting boudoir for about five years now and am currently shooting 4-6 per week-- I never tire of it!!! Just for kicks, I asked Megan & Ashley to pose for an avante garde type boudoir shoot. An awesome hair & make up artist, Meghan, donated her time & created killer hair & make up for the shoot. We had a blast, I'll be adding more from the session on my site soon, but here's a sneak peek!
Last night I shot an AMAZING wedding with Andreanna. Everything about it was breathtaking, I'll post pics as soon as possible. She's an awesome photographer (& friend) that I have known since junior high, so I was excited to hear that she was available to shoot at last night's wedding. During dinner we decided to take some pics of ourselves :) This top photo is our attempt to create a pose worthy of Vogue magazine. I guess you could say we are much better behind the camera than in front of it!!!!
day two. Shooting stills for film is the best! I LOVED doing this... I hope to work on more film projects in the future, shooting for "Maggie" was wonderful...
