Last week, Asiel Design asked me to photograph their upcoming advertisement showcasing their amazing florals and cutting edge style. I love their work-- it's always so innovative, so it was fun to have the opportuntiy to collaborate on their vision. If you are looking for floral design, definitely check out their portfolio, it's incredibly beautiful and unique.

my munchkin!!!!
He's so big now! Our little man just turned 9 months. he's now loving our cats [thank goodness, after all, we have 5 of them.] and he's going wild over the vertical blinds at the new house.
I also took him to Piru today during a shoot for my sister... so, in between photographing her, i couldn't help but shoot a few of him looking adorable in front of the shack.

I have photographed boudoir for over five years now and have always advertised these sessions as a gift for a lover or as the perfect groom's gift (since the boys love 'em,) but it has never been my actual motivation. The real reason I photograph boudoir is because of the satisfaction it gives me when a woman sees something within themselves that they didn't know was there... I don't mean to get really cheesy, but it tends to sound that way since boudoir means so much to me. Boudoir is WONDERFUL for body confidence and a healthy self image; since all of us suffer from poor self image at one time or another, I truly believe in these liberating sessions and feel that each and every woman should celebrate their body. It is a chance to unleash another side of yourself, capture your youth and to see your own unique beauty...
Because skye blu boudoir sessions are booked for so many different reasons, I have created a new division of Skye Blu to showcase different boudoir packages and galleries. Please click on the logo below to sneak a peek at my new website! Although it is still under construction, it will be finished shortly!

juliane + matt --slide show-- adamson house, malibu
Matt and Juliane are so down to earth and truly remembered the meaning of the day; never getting caught up within the haste of the events... The entire wedding simply flowed and their incredible detail and hard work paid off making their wedding unique and really personal. They casually saw one another in the morning and even entered the ceremony together which made for a really serene setting, it seemed to show a special bond. They were completely at ease, looking forward to what was to come. I liked how relaxed and easing going the vibe was. Juliane sang an Irish song to her groom during the ceremony, the couple (along with the help of close friends) also handmade over one thousand origami cranes to fulfill the Chinese belief of good fortune. The cranes were everywhere! The Adamson house held tours throughout the afternoon which allowed the guests to explore... Bottom line? It was a good day. a great day.
