christen + benj were married at the incredible Ojai Valley Inn; celebrating with their loved ones for the weekend... i LOVED the chandeliers at the ceremony site; so unexpected and romantic... "The proposal took place on Sunday, October 21st. Benj planned a day trip for us to go up to Malibu, do some shopping, and was then going to propose at Geoffrey's restaurant overlooking the ocean. Unfortunately the Malibu fires started that morning and pch was shut down. He then suggested that we stroll around Venice and Santa Monica. Apparently a moment didn't present itself and he found himself still with a ring in his pocket at the end of the day. He was determined that was the day.... :) We went home to change and go out for dinner. I had just turned off the blowdryer when he yelled from the other room "christen, i need to tell you something".... i thought it was going to be bad news about the fires. Instead, he dropped to his knee, told me the sweetest most genuine things i've ever heard out of his mouth, and asked me to marry him. I cried, he cried, it was wonderful. Just us, in our first place together, at home on a Sunday Night (our favorite day). Simple, but perfect."
